Breastfeeding Seminar
	Before Birth Classes



	The prenatal Breastfeeding Seminar is a two hour lecture and discussion with a certified lactation consultant. This seminar includes orientation to successful breastfeeding, tips on dealing with the challenges of the early weeks, how both partners can participate in feeding the baby even though only one may be breastfeeding, pumping & storage of breastmilk and more. Both partners are encouraged to attend. It is recommended that this class be taken anytime in the last 2-3 months before your expected delivery date. As with all of our classes, we encourage you to attend with your partner. During registration, one "seat" allows for the two of you to attend together. Package Option: This class is sold separately or can be puchased as part of the First Birth & Baby Program which offers a discounted fee for a specific group of the birth preparation classes. Location: Our Community Education Classroom is located in 121 at 4100 Bohannon Drive in Menlo Park.
