The Cesarean Birth Class is a two-hour class taught by a labor and delivery nurse childbirth educator. The class gives an overview of birth by cesarean section, discussing the reasons for such procedures, how they are done, the partner's role and the mother's recovery. It includes a film on Cesarean birth. Information about vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC) will also be discussed. It is recommended that this class be taken anytime in the last 2-3 months before your baby is due.
